This is a most unusual ornament that I bought at a little Christmas shop that used to be in downtown Havre de Grace. The shop has since closed and the owner retired. But the ornament always reminds me of the fun of shopping at small local businesses.
The odd thing about this ornament is that the man (presumed Santa) looks like a biker but he's riding a bet and the bee is attached to a cluster of flowers. It was just funky enough for my tastes and also particularly appealing because I love bees. Does anyone know if I'm missing some pop culture reference here?
Here are some HDG Christmas photos. The first one was something like 63 noels and a leon. I'm sure I have the number wrong.
Lloyd is down by the railroad bridge (taken a few years back before the COPD started keeping him from being out in the cold.
And the 3rd is the GGWO Choir singing at the HDG parade and tree lighting.
