An Extraordinary Ordinary Day

Today was an ordinary Saturday. We took the dog to the groomers, bought plants at Home Depot, putzed around the backyard, watched The O's on TV. It was extraordinary because it was so ordinary. DH has been so sick. He's been in the hospital three times since April. Four weeks ago he was going into septic shock and almost died. He was the doctor's office for a routine blood pressure check on Wed. The doctor took all his vitals and said "see you in 6 months". The next day he had a fever and three days later we were in the ER. I've been thinking how infection sets in when it comes to our minds. In my walk with Christ, I must guard against the infections that the enemy would introduce. If I am not careful I can be p
