Last week we went to Hampden, hons. It's a schlocky little working class section of Baltimore. My husband loves to eat at the Cafe Hon. He says it's full of "regular people" and he loves the big ol' meatloaf and the fact that he can even get a pretty decent turkey meatloaf which is better for his cholesterol.
After dining, the three of us (my husband, my sister, and I) headed over to 34th street to see the lights. This is also known as "Christmas Street" in B'more. It's where the neighbors in a city block decorate to the hilt. They even string lights across the street from one upstairs window to another. It's a magical place during the holidays.
Enjoy the photo slide show below. Click on the play arrow. The music is the closest I could come to a Baltimore Christmas classic.
