We had a nice trip to Scranton Pennsylvania this weekend to visit my sister and to celebrate her birthday, Lloyd's birthday, and our anniversary.
We went to dinner at Tratoria Bella on Friday night. Then on Saturday we enjoyed a trolley ride (caught at Steamtown National Historic site) to the historic iron furnaces and the Arts on Fire industrial arts expo hosted by Keystone College and local nonprofits such as the Anthracite Heritage Museum.
Before we left, I gave Lloyd a gift. I had bought him a new iPod. I snuck into his car when he was busy watching the Orioles lose (what else is new?) and recorded several of his favorite CD's plus I added a bunch of songs he likes and some messages from the Greater Grace archives. Below is a clip of him groovin' to his favorite tune "Diamonds In The Ebony Sky" by Janine Turner and her daughter Juliette. Click on the arrow to play (includes sound).
