Saturday at The Hon House

Come spend a day at Hon House with me. Today would be a good day. It was fall-like but beautiful.  It was one of those cool, crisp autumn days when I like to throw the windows open and watch the curtains billowing in the breeze.
I caught up on my favorite tv shows that I tape (Project Runway and Top Chef Las Vegas.  After a leisurely breakfast, I did a ton of laundry and took a walk around the yard.
There was lots in the backyard to make me smile.  Even the flowers seemed to be saying "Morning, Glory" to this Glory Bee.
The bay grass is tall and poofy now with it's lovely crowns.  Fall flowers are blooming or on the way.  Even the Rosemary is looking good.  I stopped to cut some to add to my potatoes and pork chops.

I noticed that the pond has a lovely yellow flower on the water lily and that a few of the trumpet vine flowers remain.

And in between the work and the wak and the tv, I took time to enjoy my new computer
and managed to chill with the boys.

Recent Trip to Rehoboth

Nothing OT

I belong to some online groups that are designed to share special interests like reading, cooking, travel, etc. Often replies to a post will get off on a tangent and before you know it, the subject is changed to begin with "OT" for "off topic". In some groups members or moderators will try to abolish off topic posts in order to keep down volume and to keep the posts related to the subject of the mail group. But it's comforting to know that nothing is OT with God. We can go to Him in prayer and pour out our hearts. We can approach Him about anything and everything in our lives and He listens. We don't have to have a religious formula for prayer. If we read something from a prayer book that's okay too if it expresses our hearts. But if the prayer is "HELP" or "God, I can't go on" or even if we lash out in fear or anger, it's okay. It doesn't change the way He feels about us. He loves us unconditionally. He is looking for us ...
