I had a bunch of errands to run yesterday. On my way to the MVA, I stopped at Dunkin Donuts to grab a bagel sandwich and a coffee for breakfast. I decided to eat inside so I could enjoy one of my favorite hobbies, people watching. In came a couple stocking up on donuts, coffee, and cold drinks. I made up a story that this was fuel for a road trip they were taking, maybe going to the shore for one last weekend at the ocean. As my sister would quip, they looked like they knew their way around a donut shop. Behind them was a clean-cut young man, very athletic looking. I thought if I had a son, this is what I'd want him to look like. He seemed at ease with himself. He could be a doctor, a cop, a researcher, even an actor. Then he sneezed a loud ACHOO right out into the air, not trying to keep his germs from spraying, not reaching for the napkins at the nearby condiment table.
