What Else Are You Going To Do?

I've been home sick and in the evenings I haven't been up to much. So I've been surfing the web and listening to podcasts and well, listening to podcasts about surfing the web. Here are a few wonderful ways to spend time on the web....or is it waste time? Well, if it's helping me de-stress, I say it's therapeutic. Cute dogs. Who can resist them? And you can add your own or add captions to the ones there already. Pundits. This is not a bunch of people yelling at each other. It's funny photos and funnier captions. Cakewrecks - Saw this on Urlesque and it cracked me up. Falling Sand - Etch-a-sketch meets lava lamp. Have fun. Make you own comic stip - This is a lot harder than it looks. We were going to a small branch ministry. We had an outreach to the handicapped called "The Abled Ministry" and I remember sitting with some of these beautiful wheelchair-...

Happy Harvest Time

I am a spring and summer person. I loathe most of the winter, especially after the warmth of the holiday season has past. Autumn is a mixed bag for me. I hate to see the days getting shorter and the weather getting cooler. But I love the warm parts of autumn days and the sights and smells of the season. So I think I will just concentrate on those and enjoy a happy harvest time this year. Isaiah 18:4 For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
